Deutsche Leasing acquires stakes of AKA
During the accounts press conference 2020, Deutsche Leasing announces acquiring AKA stakes of Berliner Sparkasse in order to expand the ECA business. As a result, AKA has gained another partner who relies on AKA's competence and many years of expertise in Trade Finance.
For the past 65 years, AKA has been working in close and trustful cooperation and partnership within a network of strong banks. In this context, working alongside various shareholder banks is AKA's main focus. AKA believes that the close relationship, integrity and trustful cooperation are the essential foundations for its role as an enabler in the financing and administrative processing of international Export and Trade transactions.
This broad base is now being strengthened even further: In the middle of March 2020, Deutsche Leasing agreed with Berliner Sparkasse to aquire their shares of AKA. A year ago, there has already been a signing of a cooperation agreement with the 25 largest savings banks. The acquisition and supervisory board membership are still subject to the fulfillment during the annual shareholder meeting at the end of April.
